Unable to connect to the server after entering username and password, screen stays on trying to establish connect forever.

Is it the same computer from which you were usually connecting?

Perhaps you are inside an institution which has a firewall or a router that blocks a connection to a custom TCP/IP port? If so, you need to contact the IT to allow the connection to your server's port. The port is visible under the "Host" field in the connection window (when you expand it using the "+" button).

I am the IT department and yes exact same PC nothing has changed on the Router's settings. PC Firewall has allow any on it for Lantiv.

Can you please check if you can reach the server's port using this tool:

http://ping.eu/port-chk/

Type the server's IP address and port there and click on "Go". Does the port appear "Closed" or "Open" to your computer?

OK, this means that the port and IP you have are correct. Let's test if the computer can connect to that port and IP. Please do the following:

1. Install Telnet client:

Click Start > Control Panel.
Click Programs and Features.
Click Turn Windows features on or off.
In the Windows Features dialog box, check the Telnet Client check box.
Click OK. The system installs the appropriate files. This will take a few seconds to a minute.

2. Run "Cmd" (command line) and type:

telnet [ip] [port]

If the port is open, you will see a blank screen. This means that the connection is successful. If the port is closed, you will receive a Connect failed message.

What is the Telnet's output?

The thing is that except for the telnet, we don't see any incoming connections arriving at the server. Can you please check if the Windows Firewall is blocking the connection, or perhaps some other anti virus application?

In Control Panel, select Windows Firewall and click on "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall". Do you see "Lantiv Scheduling Studio" in the list? Are the "Private" and "Public" check boxes selected?
